Hiroshi Yoshida 吉田博 is famous for his woodblock print. He was a 20th century Japanese woodblock print maker and printer. Also, he was the leader in the shin hanga or new print movement. He was working at the Watanabe print shop for few years. Then, he decided to open his own print shop and he succeeded. He designed the key blocks, chose the colors and supervised the printers. He even curved the printing blocks in some cases. Since that was unusual in the traditional division of labor between designer, carver, and printer at that time.
